Hello, my name is Monica and I am a surgeon by profession. I am currently forty-nine years old and have over twenty years of experience in medicine. I've seen all sorts of medical cases, but unfortunately not something like Covid-19. I will disappoint you that I am not here to talk about the disease itself and the victims, but about their families. The virus struck the world very suddenly. Every day I see people dying and their loved ones being left not only without a loved one, but also without hope.
Many of the deceased patients are mothers and fathers. My call to you is to help their families together. To suddenly lose a loved one who has also been your mainstay is horrifying. These people also need help.
Material things will by no means fill the void, but they are a need that cannot be ignored. Thanks in advance to everyone who decided to share their kindness and gave a spark of hope to a person in need. Be healthy!
